Six years ago, Neil Gaiman and Gahan Wilson answered this question in comic book form as part of the collection called (as was every story in it) It Was a Dark and Silly Night. First 4 pages of an 8 pages story from a book in the LITTLE LIT series called IT WAS A DARK AND SILLY NIGHT (all somewhat spooky stories for kids). The story was written by Lemony Snicket and I did the : Richard Sala.
Directed by Steven-Charles Jaffe. With Lesley Chilcott, Ellen Swietlik, Aaron Van Yurinne/10(24). The sky lightens to bright pink, banishing the dark night, and Felix and the rabbit celebrate with a hot chocolate toast. Cheers, indeed!
